An update for Creators.TF servers was released. Changes will automatically apply after a map change. Notable changes include:

  • Servers now use the arena win panel for standard rounds
  • Stranded (Patch notes taken from Stranded's page on the Steam Workshop)
    • Brought in more changes from halloween version of the map:
      • Sealed off route near CP3.
      • Made large indoor area more readable and better movable.
      • Some visual touches around that area.
      • More visual changes in last RED base.
      • Increased lighting in some dark areas.
      • Adjusted lighting in some areas.
    • Repositioned rogue "control point" sign near BLU 1st base.
    • Removed buggy looking cable roll near blu 1st spawn.
    • Fixed bumping crate indoors near CP3.
    • Fixed several props fading too soon
    • Fixed some misaligned textures.
    • Fixed some missing clipping in RED 1st base.
    • Fixed displacement error that could result in frame drops.
    • Updated navigation file to reflect changes.

  • Sludgepit (Patch notes taken from Sludgepit's page on TF2maps.net)
    • Gameplay changes:
      • Fixed the clipping/displacements at the last point so players won't get stuck anymore.
      • More clipping fixes all over the map.
      • Much more very small changes that won't be said here..
    • Detail changes:
      • Changed some detailing at last. Mostly to make it look more like a chemical waste facility and spytech-y.
      • Added toxic waste spills because the janitor sucks at doing their job.
      • Did some changes to the 3d skybox by adding some mountainous structures and changing the small factory building into a full nuclear powerplant.
      • Added a easter egg below red's last spawn that is based of Vinesauce
    • Extra bonus change:
      • Changed the description of the map because it had grammar issues among other things.

An update for Creators.TF servers was released. Changes will automatically apply after a map change. Notable changes include:

  • Gamma Gazer
    • Reduced damage done to sappers from 100 to 34. It now takes 3 shots to remove a sapper.

      Why: Being able to insta-delete sappers rapidly from any distance for free was too good. Considering the spy is doing everything right and is just getting nullified by this weapon. The clip will now limit you to two effective sapper removals in a clip instead of 6. Giving it a similar timing to the regular wrench.

  • Fixed bug with "Kill X in a single life" objective not resetting on death.
  • Players now automatically respawn after changing their Creators.TF loadout while in spawn.
  • Applied various backend changes and upgrades to both website and servers.

An update for Creators.TF servers was released. Changes will automatically apply after a map change. Notable changes include:

  • Hypodermic Injector
    • Fixed Ubercharge effect not applying in some rare cases.
    • Fixed charge not being reset between rounds.
    • Fixed being able to fill your charge on spawn by getting heal points as other classes.
    • Reduced the amount of charge gained by healing with Crusader Crossbow.

      Why: We're still experimenting with this weapon design to see if it's something that fits the game. The reduced build rate with the crossbow should limit how often this weapon can be used. Changes are not permanent as we continue to iterate and develop based on your feedback. The goal is to have Hypodermic Injector be on the same viability level as the Ubersaw. We will be closely monitoring your feedback on this weapon.

  • Thumper
    • Increased accuracy bonus from 15% more accurate to 30% more accurate.

      Why: While the damage nerf was necessary to keep it from being too good with crits and mini-crits, the aspect of it being the mid-long range sustain shotgun needed to be improved, thus the decrease in pellet spread.

  • Bolshevik Bomber
    • Increased damage from 25% to 30%.

      Why: This slight increase in damage should allow the heavy to kill 175 HP classes with two shots at a further distance. Otherwise the increase in damage doesn't really change any interractions in any major way. As the time to kill and amount of shots stays roughly the same within the effective range.
      This weapon is supposed to be slow and powerful, sort of like a brass beast of shotguns, and we have to make it play that way the best we can.


  • Fixed visual bug with "undefined" value when scrapping an item.

  • Added unused Administrator voice lines that are only played in competitive/casual.
  • Added "Round Start" music for when the timer reaches 7 seconds during warmup.
  • Fixed a visual bug where, when mass-scrapping items, it would say that they were deleted.
  • Scrapping an item no longer shows "undefined".
  • Contracker is slightly bigger.

  • Sludgepit (Patch notes taken from Sludgepit's page on TF2maps.net)
    • Fixed clipping in several areas so players cant build in areas they aren't suppose to and can't get out of bounds.
    • Fixed it so red players don't get stuck in their first spawn. If they are in their spawn the same time the spawns switch to the new spawns they will teleport to those spawns.

  • ClearCut (Patch notes taken from ClearCut's page on TF2maps.net)
    • Minor Patch:
      • Fixed a missing barrel in red left transition
      • Fixed broken detail geometry
      • Lowered the left side ramp used to get on roof the same amount the point and roof were lowered in a previous update. Sniper was reported being able to get up there
      • Fixed the upper half of a valley building not having its clipping
  • Weapons can now be scrapped.
  • Scrapping items now have a set value
    • Cosmetics: 60 MC
    • Weapons: 30 MC
  • Scrapping a Strange item increases obtainable amount of coins by 440. (e.g.: Scrapping a cosmetic will give you 500 Mann Coins [60 + 440]).
  • Fixed a visual bug related to dropping dragged items above page buttons causing to continously switch the page.
  • 3D loadout preview:
    • Fixed wrong "Beater Cop" and "Shady Business" cosmetic mask.
    • Fixed "Sight of Sound" not hiding Soldier's hat.
    • Fixed lack of alpha for "The Foxhound".

  • Enabled Classful Event on every Creators.TF server.
    • Event runs through August 23th, 2020.
  • Added 3 new community-made maps to the rotation:
    • Databank (King of the Hill)
    • Rumble (Control Point)
    • Sludgepit (Payload)
  • Added 3 new weapons:
    • Carved Cutter - A melee reskin for the Spy.
    • The W.A.S.P. Launcher - A primary weapon for the Soldier
      • -10% damage penalty
      • -20% projectile speed
      • +20% explosion radius
    • The Bolshevik Bomber - A secondary weapon for the Heavy
      • +25% damage bonus
      • -20% slower firing speed
      • This weapon deploys 20% slower
      • -25% clip size
  • The Hypodermic Injector
    • Now stores up to 500 health points - Holds 1 charge (500 healing done)
    • On hit: Heal teammate for 100 HP and apply 1.5 seconds of currently equipped uber from medigun (consumes charge)
    • Decreased firing speed from 10% faster to -20% slower
    • Increased damage penalty from -20% to -25%
  • The Gamma Gazer
    • Metal is no longer required to destroy a sapper
    • Reduced damage bonus from 100% to 30%
    • Reduced accuracy from 100% to 70%
    • Reduced slower firing speed from -350% to -125%
    • Added an "Alt-Fire" (Use 50 metal to pick up your targeted building from long range)
  • The Thumper
    • Reduced damage bonus from 130% to 110%
  • Changed the map rotation
    • Removed the following maps:
      • Mercenary Park
      • Mossrock
      • Powerhouse
      • Suijin
    • Added the following maps:
      • Gravel Pit (Control Point)
      • Gullywash (Control Point)
      • Mountain Lab (Control Point)
      • Process (Control Point)
      • Snakewater (Control Point)
      • Yukon (Control Point)
      • King (King of the Hill)
      • Banana Bay (Payload Race)
      • Nightfall (Payload Race)
      • Pipeline (Payload Race)
  • Previous weapons are now purchasable through the store. This will also be applied to the current weapons at the end of this event.
  • Added the Classful Keyless Cosmetics Crate:
    • Contains 19 new community-made cosmetics.
  • Added new contracts.
  • Added Stranges:
    • Strangifiers can be obtained via drops through crates (including previous ones) or directly purchased through the store via the "Tools" section.
  • Redesigned the Inventory layout:
    • Added "Bulk Actions"
    • Added the ability to right click an item and do all actions (Use, Delete, Scrap, go to Loadout).
    • Added the ability to customize the inventory item's placement by simply dragging and dropping.
  • Added "Backpack Extender":
    • Inventories are now restricted to 5 pages by default. You can extend it by using a "Backpack Extender" (25 maximum).
  • Fixed a bug on Attack/Defend gamemode where the map gets force ended after the map timer has elapsed.
